Love and friendship.

I believed i had found my Soulmate. The one person who could love me and make me whole.
He is everything i searched for. Kind to everybody. Caring. Loyal. Honest. Funny.
But it was not meant to be.
I had not found my Soulmate. I had found a friend. A good friend.
I mistook kindness for love.
I mistook friendship for love.
It is the way he is with all people.
I understand that now.
I did not find him as my Soulmate,but i am glad i found him as my friend.

Love of a friend is strong but different to love of one who one can be in love with.

I would like to ask if other's have found strong friendship?

Have others fallen in love with a friend but the friend not love you back but stay friends?

I have heard it many times, people fall in love with friends and some gets lucky while others not. Personally It hasn't happen to me, I fell in love with my first best friend and got lucky to get the same in equal quantity or more.

Feeling little sad about the way things have happened with you. I hope you can find your soulmate one day. Just keep looking he out there somethere looking for you just the way you are looking for him.

I got friendzoned by my bestie. We spent all our time together. We were "best friends forever"friends. We had no secrets from each other we told each other EVERYTHING.
I knew my feelings had changed and told them how i felt but things just fell apart. It just changed everything. Nothing was the same. No more time together no chatting no messaging no anything. You tell someone you love them and they turn their back on you and ignore you. That hurts. It still hurts. I still cry when nobody is looking. I still love them but i know they will never love me back. I tried moving on but i still love them. Always will.

Love that is not returned is hurtful but you cannot make someone love you. If they are still a good friend to you when the truth is told of feelings of them this is a good thing. To lose a friend is hurtful but to lose a friend because of love for them hurts more.

I love you i hate you i miss you but i am better off without you.
I want you out of my life but i never want to let you go.

*raises hand* same with me. I thought i could never find someone better. He thought it was absurd for me to fall in love with him. I moved off. I let him live his life and i lived mine in darkness and vowed i would never fall in love with another man. But, Life and Destiny always has its way around life. I found a man. Rather we found each other. Hope to be together with him for the rest of my life.
Tia, have hope. Life always has its way around. He will one day look back and see, you life is way better than what u lost from what u gained because you lost someone.
